Ingredients

  • Jowar flour 1½cup
  • Beetroot 1
  • Onion 1
  • Curd ½cup
  • Green chillies 2
  • Coriander leaves ½cup
  • Salt as required
  • Oil as required
  • Water as required

Instructions

  • Grate beetroot and make puree.
  • Take jowar flour in a bowl.
  • Mix chopped onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, curd, salt and pureed beetroot.
  • Blend everything into thick lump free batter. Keep aside for 10mins. Add more water to adjust the consistency.
  • Heat a non-stick pan and drizzle some oil, pour a ladle full of pancake batter.
  • Cook on one side and then flip over and cook the other side.
  • Serve hot with green chutney.

Notes/Tips

1. The pancake batter must be smooth and lump free. 2. Adjust the consistency by adding water. 3. Don't cook the pancakes on high flame or else it will get burnt.
