  • Wheat flour
  • Water
  • Curd
  • Cumin
  • Salt
  • Onion
  • Green chillies
  • Curry leaves
  • Oil

Instructions

  • Finely chop a small onion, green chillies and curry leaves. In a bowl add the chopped onion,chillies, curry leaves , cumin and salt. Mix well. To this add the wheat flour and mix. Now add yogurt and water to the above mixture and mix well. The resulting batter should not be too runny or stiff but in between. Heat oil enough for deep frying in a heavy bottomed pan on medium heat. Once your oil is ready to fry, add spoonfuls of batter in to the oil slowly. Fry on all the sides. Take them out with a slotted spoon to avoid excess oil and serve them hot.
