- Boil the milk and on the other side crush the soaked rice in a grinder with 2 tsp of milk. Crush the walnuts also into a fine powder form. After a boil, add crushed rice paste to it and stir it until the rice are cooked.
- Further add crushed walnuts and cardamom powder and let it cook for few more minutes. Then switch off the flame and keep it aside.
- For making caramel, add ghee and sugar into a pan and let it cook till sugar is completely dissolved. Then add 2 tsp of water and mix and cover for two minutes. The caramel is ready.
- Now pour this caramel to prepared firni and give it a nice mix.
- Delicious walnut Caramel firni is ready. Put in the refrigerator and when its cool enjoy it. While serving it, garnish it with some chocolate chips and crushed walnuts.
