No oil cake easy to make

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1+ 3/4 cup maida
  • 1 baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 100 ml milk
  • 50 ml milk, if required
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup tutti frutti
  • 1-2 tsp maida
  • 8-10 cashews
  • 2-3 drops yellow food color
  • 2-3 drops oil (grease)

Instructions

  • Mix curd and sugar in a bowl. Mix till sugar dissolves completely. Sieve maida, baking powder and baking soda into the wet ingredients. Mix well.
  • Add milk, again mix. Now add vanilla essence, food color. Mix well. Coat the tutti frutti with some maida. Even add some chopped cashews. Get a semi liquid mixture.
  • Grease a tin with some oil. Pour the mixture. This time I have baked the cake on the gas and not inmy oven.
  • Place a big broad vessel on the gas, spread some salt. Place a stand or ring. On that place the tin and cover and bake it for 30 - 40 minutes or till the knife comes out clean.
