- Wash, clean the okras, wipe and pat dry them.(remove the head and the tail and chopped by 1inch. Heat a wok, add 2tsp oil and add the chopped okras to it and saute till becomes soft and remove it in a plate.
- In the same wok, add oil, mustard seeds, let it splutter, cumin, asafoetida, green chillies, chana dal, urad dal,curry leaves, byedgi chilli and saute till dal becomes light brown
- Add the sauteed bhindi, stir add salt cook for 1-2mins more. Switch off the flame,add lime juice and grated coconut.mix well
- Okra/bhindi is ready to serve wdh phulka,or as a side dish to any meal.
