Spinach Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion
  • 1 small tomato
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1/2 inch ginger chopped
  • as required Finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup spinach puree
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp fresh cream

Instructions

  • Wash the spinach and cut the stem off. Boil water and Blanch the spinach for 2 minutes and immediately put them into cold water and set aside. In a blender add the spinach and make a smooth puree.
  • Take Butter or pure ghee in a pan add onion, green chilli, ginger and coriander leaves fry them and cook for 1-2 minutes. Now, add tomato, spinach puree.keep stirring them.
  • Add cornflour, sugar, and mix them. Finally, Spinach Soup is ready and add few fresh cream and Lemon juice. Enjoy!!

Notes/Tips

Can have it before meal and blanch the spinach before making
