- First wash ¼ cup mint leaves and muddle them slightly to release juice and flavour. You can use mortar-pester to muddle the leaves or you can take the mint leaves into a glass and muddle them with the edge of a rolling pin. Keep it side.Take a pitcher and squeeze lime juice into it with a lime squeezer.
- Add 2-3 tsp sugar, ¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp black salt, ½ tsp coriander powder, ¼ tsp roasted cumin powder, ¼ tsp chaat masala, muddled mint leaves.
- Mix all the ingredients nicely.Add 2 cups of cold water into the pitcher and mix it with a spoon until the sugar gets dissolved.
- Add 2 lemon or lime slices for some extra flavour.Now your shikanji is ready to serve.
