- Grind semolina + sugar into fine powder, in mixing bowl add flour + salt + fine powder + ghee and knead dough. Add water as required, we need a semi soft dough. Cover for 10 minutes.
- Cut the dough into two equal parts and start rolling, roll out a thick layer.
- Now cut into both horizontally and vertically to get square shapes.
- In moderately heated oil add the pieces and deep fry till golden brown.
- Fry well, it should turn crisp.
- Shakkar Paare is ready to serve.
