Sangria is a typical Spanish beverage and it’s usually made with red wine, chopped fruit and some sweetener. This is a alcohol free version made with fruit juices and fresh fruits.

Ingredients

  • For Juice: 2 medium Orange
  • 1 cup black and green grapes
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1½ litre chilled water
  • For Fresh Fruits : 1 banana diced
  • 1 apple diced
  • ½ cup diced watermelon
  • 10-15 green grapes cut into halves
  • 1 lemon cut into wedges
  • ¼ cup pomegranate arils
  • 1 kiwi diced
  • 1 orange cut into wedges
  • 1 mango diced

Instructions

  • Peel the orange, deseed and take out only the orange segments.
  • In a juicer or blender add the grapes, orange segments and sugar and blend it finely. Strain it and extract the juice completely.
  • Add the juice in a large jar or bowl. Add the lemon juice, water and the cut fresh fruits and let it stand in the refrigerator for few hours.
  • Pour in individual serving glass, add ice cubes if required and serve chilled.

Notes/Tips

● Use fresh fruits of your choice or seasonal fruits. ● You can add in other fruits for the juice ● You can use use maple syrup or other sweetener instead of sugar. ● Refrigerate the mixture for intense taste and flavor. ● You can also add in alchohol of your choice in it.
