- Heat water in a pan. Add salt and ghee and bring the water to a boil. Add the rice and ragi flour and cover the pan with a lid. Cook for 5-6 minutes. Remove the pan from heat and mix well to make a smooth mixture. Keep the pan back on heat and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Take out the mixture in a bowl and let it cool slightly. Slightly wet your palms and make balls from the mixture. Serve hot with curry.
