Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, take 2 cups boiled, peeled, and grated potato. Add ¾ cup bread crumbs, 3 tablespoon cornflour, and salt to the taste. Mix all the ingredients and make a soft dough.Then cover and refrigerate the dough for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, knead the dough slightly. Pinch a big ball-sized dough and make a patty. First, Spread the patty on butter paper. Then roll the patty into a thick circle, using a rolling pin. Further, take a small Katori and cut the round shapes. Make eyes using a cake decorating nozzle. Make all smiles and keep them aside. Heat the oil in kadai. Add smiley in hot oil. Deep fry the potato smiley on medium flame. When it turns golden on one side, flip it. Fry until looks golden and crisp and then remove from the oil. Serve hot.
