- Blanch palak / spinach in water. Strain the water, allow it to cool and make a puree.
- Mix whole wheat flour, spinach puree, turmeric powder, salt. Sprinkle water and knead a soft dough. Rest the dough for 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough in medium size marble balls. You will get 8-9 balls. Heat a tawa / pan.
- Dust some flour roll the spinach balls to make a roti with the help of rolling pin. Not too thick / too thin.
- Cook on medium heat. Once cooked flip the spinach roti. Let it cook on both sides by adding ghee / oil and cook well.
- Once cooked on both sides with oil/ ghee, the spinach roti / palak ki roti is ready to serve.
