Raita is an Indian condiment made from salted yoghurt (dahi), mixed together with a variety of vegetables, fruits and herbs, and typically served as a side dish to help cool the heat of spicy foods like biryani.

  • Curd-4table spoon
  • onions-1 big
  • tomato-1
  • cucumber-1
  • Green chilly-2
  • Salt as required
  • ginger-1inch
  • Water

Instructions

  • In a bowl, pour curd and all ingredients like Chopped onions,tomatoes, cucumber,green chilly,crushed ginger,add salt and water to adjust consistency. Lastly, add coriander leaves and mix it.

Notes/Tips

Sprinkle little chilly powder above raita which tastes goes well with it.
