Ingredients

  • 200 gram whole green moong daal
  • 2 inch Ginger
  • 4-5 Green chillies
  • 1-2 finely chopped onions
  • 1-2 Carrots
  • 2-3 Beetroots
  • 100 grams grated paneer
  • to taste Salt
  • as required Coriander for garnishing
  • as required Butter or ghee
  • as needed Oil

Instructions

  • Soak the green moong daal for overnight
  • In morning, blend thesoaked daal with ginger and chillies and add salt as per taste
  • Finely chop the onions,grate the carrots, beetroot and paneer
  • Grease the pan with oil or butter and add the mixture in it.
  • Once cooked from both sides, add chopped onions,carrots beetroot and paneer and add butter in the top. Cook it for another 3 -4 mins.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and sprinkle chaat masala on the top. Serve it with green chutney or sauce as preferred.(Coriander leaves were not available with me today hence skipped that part)

This can be a lunch box recipe too
