Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup yellow moong daal
  • 1.5 Cups wheat flour (add more if required)
  • As Required Water
  • As per taste Salt
  • 1 tsp Black sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • As Required Oil for deep fry
  • As Required Wheat flour for dusting
  • As Per Taste Chat masala

Instructions

  • Soak moong daal for 2 to 2.30 hours. Take daal in a pressure cooker. Add required water (1.5 inches more than daal leval) and cook it.
  • Now transfer in mixing bowl and add wheat flour. Add salt, sessem seeds, black pepper powder, and chili flakes and combine well.
  • If you find the mixture is loose add more wheat flour or it's hard to tie the dough add some water. Knead a medium soft dough. Apply oil and knead it.
  • Take a small portion of the dough. Coat with dry flour and flatten out. Keep medium thick. Cut with a knife and give your favourite shape.
  • Deep fry it in hot oil on low flame and after some time medium flame till become crispy. Sprinkle some chat masala and Serve it.
