Lemon Pepper Chicken

Ingredients

  • 300 gm Chicken
  • 3 tbsp Curd
  • 1 Lemon
  • as per taste Salt and pepper
  • as required Chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp Refined oil
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 1tsp each Ginger & garlic paste
  • As Required Green chillies
  • 1 Bayleaf 1 , cinnamon stick
  • 5-6 peppercorns

Instructions

  • Marinate the chicken pieces with curd,salt,pepper,Ginger& garlic paste, 1/2lemon juice & leave it for 30mins.
  • Heat oil & butter. Saute the cinnamon stick, peppercorns & bay leaf. Now shallow fry the chicken pieces.
  • Add the remaining marinated mixture. Wash the bowl & add the water little. Mix well & cook it until the chicken becomes tender.
  • Once again add salt,pepper, lemon juice as required. Add the splited green chillies.
  • Make a thin slurry of cornflour with water. Add to the chicken. Mix properly. Sprinkle chopped parsley. Serve hot with rice or paratha.
