- Take a bowl and add boiled mashed potato, onion, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin seeds, garam masala, chaat masala, mixed herbs, chopped coriander leaves. Mix well and add semolina and salt. Divide the mixture into equal parts and shape them to tikki. Meanwhile, heat oil for shallow frying. Once the oil is hot, shallow fry the tikki on slow flame from both the sides. Once it turns nice golden brown and crisp, take them out. Serve hot with ketchup, mayonnaise.
