- Beat the curds and add enough water to make buttermilk.
- Add jowar flour and salt and mix well removing all the lumps. Keep this mixture aside for 5 mins.
- Heat oil in a thick bottom pan. Add asafoetida & mustard seeds- let them splutter.
- Add green chilies , chopped garlic cloves and curry leaves. Add turmeric powder. Now add the jowar- buttermilk mixture and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
- The mixture will start getting thicker. You can add more water to get desired consistency.
- Cover it for 5 mins and your dish is ready to be savored. Garnish it with chopped coriander and serve it hot.
