Ingredients

  • 1-3/4 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 100 gms butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 tsp jeera seeds/cumin seeds
  • 4 tbsp + 4 tsp warm milk

Instructions

  • In a bowl, beat butter and sugar with an electric beater. In another bowl sieve flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add cumin seeds. Mix well.
  • Now mix the butter mixture and the flour, add milk and bind the dough. Do not knead it too much.
  • Take a rolling pin and roll it, then with the desired cookie cutter, make small biscuits.
  • Bake it in a preheated oven @180°c for 15 mins.

Notes/Tips

Store for longer time and good with tea or coffee
