Ingredients

  • 1 kg Idli better
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 cup tour daal
  • Salt the taste
  • 1 tspn turmeric powder
  • 1 tspn coriander powder
  • 1 tspn Red chili powder
  • 1 tspn sambhar masala
  • 1 tspn Coriander leaves
  • 1 tspn lemon juice
  • 1 tspn jaggery
  • Dry ingredients..
  • 1 dry Red chili
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Udad daal
  • 1 finely chopped onions
  • 1 finely chopped tomatoes
  • 10 curry leaves
  • 2 tspn oil

Instructions

  • Take Idli better n added required water n soda in it keep stirring one side n pour it in idli mould.
  • Put it in stemmer n steam idli for 15 minutes.
  • Washed n Soaked daal for 10 minutes n boiled it.
  • Whisk it n keep it on gas flame for boiling with added required water.
  • Added all spices n salt to taste n boiled it.
  • Make tadka with dry ingredients n added onions n tomatoes n pour it in sambhar.
  • Served with idli.

Notes/Tips

Served with coconut chutney.
