- In bowl sieve all three flours. Add pinch of salt, mohan.mix well. Gradually add water to form semi soft dough. Rest it for 1 hour.
- Dry roast sesame seeds. In pan add 1/2 cup oil, roast besan till becomes aromatic and turns light brown.
- In another pan add Jaggery, put 2 tbspoons water.allow it to melt completely.continously stir it. Blend sesame seeds to coarse paste. Allow besan and Jaggery to cool down. Now add sesame powder and Jaggery to besan.add cardamom and saunth powder.mix well
- Now take dough.make small balls. Roll two puris. On one puri put stuffing and again put another puri on it.close it neatly and roll out poli.
- On pan spread ghee and roast gul poli neatly from both sides on medium to hot flame. Serve hot with homemade desi ghee. Enjoy
