Garlic Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 cup sona masori rice
  • 10 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1 onion
  • as required Few fried cashew nuts
  • 1/2 tsp haldi powder
  • 1 tbsp red chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp roasted jeera powder
  • 2 tbsp. black pepper
  • as required Few chopped coriander leaves
  • as per taste Salt
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

  • Wash rice twice and soak for 5 minutes. Once it is done. Keep aside. Boil rice when it is half cooked. Once it is done. Strain it and keep aside. Heat oil in Kadai. Fry chopped onion, crushed garlic till it is light brown in color.
  • Add the red chilli paste, haldi powder, roasted jeera powder and salt. Mix properly. Add rice mix well....and fry for few minutes. Add black pepper and garam masala. Cover it and switch off the flame. Once it is done.
  • Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with breasts and fried cashew nuts.

Notes/Tips

Serve hot.....garlic fried rice with chicken curry
