Food rakhi of CABBAGE PISTA SPINACH BARFI

Ingredients

  • Cabbage chopped 2 cups
  • Spinach puree 1/2 cup
  • Khoya 1 cup
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Peanut butter 2 tbsp
  • Honey 1/2 cup
  • Grated jaggery 1/2 cup
  • Pista powder 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • Desicatted coconut 2 tbsp
  • Ghee 1/2 cup

Instructions

  • In a pan boil water add chopped cabbage to it ,then give 2 boils ,drain all water
  • Now in a pan heat ghee saute this par boiled cabbage for 5 minites
  • Now add milk to it and stir on low flame till the milk gets absorbed and cabbage gets soften
  • Now add grated jaggery and stir till 5 minutes then add khoya to it
  • Once u add khoya stir the mixture on low flame till it starts forming lump
  • Now add spinach puree,honey,peanut butter, cardamom powder mix all well till 5 minutes
  • Lastly add pista powder and dedicated coconut and stir till barfi leaves the sides of pan
  • Now transfer this barfi in a greased tray and let it come to room temperature
  • Then set it in free for 30 minutes
  • Now u can put it into desired mould and unmould it or cut it into desired shape
  • And serve it with garnish of grated pista and desicatted coconut

Notes/Tips

U can add sugar here 3/4 cup ,instead of honey and jaggery
