- Rinse dal+Fenugreek seeds,rice seperately and soak for 6-7hrs. Firstly ground rice by adding water to a smooth paste. Ground urad dal+ Fenugreek together to a smooth batter and add the batter wdh the rice batter and mix well.
- Cover and let it ferment for overnight. Next morning,u will see the batter has risen up. Take the required quantity in a mixing bowl and add salt to taste and mix well and adjust the water quantity...for a medium thick pouring consistency.
- Heat a cast iron skillet or non stick tawa and grease well... Pour a ladleful of batter and spread evenly...wait for a minute and close wdh a lid. Let it cook on medium flame,till u see the upper layer has dried up...flip on to the other side for some seconds and done.
- Serve it wdh hinga/asfaoetida chutney and enjoy.
