  • Dates
  • Full cream milk
  • Water
  • Nuts
  • Sugar
  • Cardamom
  • Ghee

Instructions

  • Chop all the nuts and dates finely. Now heat 1 tsp ghee in a small pan, add chopped nuts and roast them for in to low to medium flame until the nuts turn light golden brown. When the nuts turn light golden transfer it to a bowl. Now in the same pan add ½ tsp ghee and dates. Fry for few seconds then add water. Allow the mixture to boil well till dates turn soft and mushy. This will take about 2 to 3 minutes depending on the size of the dates. When dates look mushy add milk. Mix it well and allow it to boil well. When the mixture starts to boil add cardamom powder and the ghee fried nuts. Give it a stir and allow the mixture to boil well until everything is combined really well. this should take about 2 minutes. Now put off the flame. Serve it warm.
