Ingredients

  • 2 cup all-purpose flour (maida)
  • 1/2 cup custard powder
  • as per taste Sugar
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4cup oil
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 drops vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tbsp vinegar
  • as required Oil for greasing
  • as required Water

Instructions

  • To make the mustard cake: combine all the ingredients maida, custard powder, sugar, baking soda, milk, curd, oil, vanilla extract and vinegar. Gradually, stir all the ingredients till they are combined completely.
  • Take a cake pan and grease it with oil. Pour the batter and spread the dry fruits.
  • In a heavy vessel add water and stand. Now cook cake on medium-low flame for 30minutes.
  • Transfer the cake to the cake stand and serve immediately.
