Ingredients

  • Bread slices
  • Dahi (2 cups)
  • 1 Capsicum (chopped)
  • 1 Carrot (shredded)
  • 1 onion chopped
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Green Chillis
  • Oregano
  • Coriander leaves

Instructions

  • First step is to make hung curd for the filling. In a Muslim cloth add dahi and refrigerate it for 2-3 hours. Make sure to place a bowl underneath the cloth to drain excess of the water
  • After the hung curd is ready. Take a bowl and add the hung curd, chopped onion, shredded carrots, chopped capsicum, salt, sugar, Chillis and oregano and mix well.
  • Then take a slide of bread and cut the corners. You can keep the corners if you wish. Place the filling in the middle and roll the bread.
  • Close the rolls with the help of corn flour slurry. Wet your hands and press the dahi rolls gently. In this way the oil will not penetrate inside the filling and the rolls will turn out to be super crispy
  • Finally deep fry the rolls and serve hot with ketchup.

Notes/Tips

You can air fry the rolls if you want to switch for a healthier option.
