Cinammon Lemon Ginger Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1/2 inch ginger grated
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp tea leaves
  • 3 cups water

Instructions

  • Boil water in a saucepan. Add a stick of cinnamon in it, simmer and let it steep in it for 6-7 minutes till the color of water changes to golden or light brown. Boil the water and add 2 tsp tea leaves. Add 1/2 tsp grated ginger and simmer for a minute. Cover and steep it for 2 minutes.
  • Strain the tea in a strainer and serve brewing hot and healthy herbal cinnamon ginger tea with a slice of lemon wedge. Adding sugar, artificial sweetener or honey is a personal choice. Enjoy this flavourful herbal drink early in the morning or in between meals.
