Ingredients

  • 5-6 carrots(washed,peeled and chopped)
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp urad dal
  • 3-4 green chillies
  • 2-3 sprigs curry leaves
  • 2 red dried chillies
  • 1 tsp oil(preferably virgin coconut oil)
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric (optional)
  • 2 tbspn fresh grated coconut
  • as per taste Salt

Instructions

  • Heat a pan,add oil,add mustard seeds,when it splutters,add urad dal,green chillies,red chillies,curry leaves,turmeric.
  • Add the chopped carrots,salt & mix well. Cover with a lid for 5-7mins and done.
  • Garnish with fresh grated coconut and serve to any meal.
