Caramelized Makhana

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Makhana
  • 2 tbsp jaggery
  • 2 tbsp peanuts
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Salt as required
  • 1 tbsp white sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Take a pan and toast the makhana and peanuts on low flame till it's crunchy for 5-10 min.
  • Transfer it to another bowl and then add jaggery, 2 tbsp water and allow it to cook on low flame for 5-7 min
  • Now add salt, sesame seeds, roasted makhana and peanuts
  • Mix it well and cook it for 2-3 min till everything comes together
  • Serve it with tea/coffee and enjoy♥️

Notes/Tips

Make sure to make the makhanas crunchy before mixing then in jaggery
