- In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas. In another bowl sift the dry ingredients - refined flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and the spices.
- In a separate bowl, combine yoghurt, vanilla and sugar till the sugar is dissolved.
- Then add the freshly prepared and cooled brown butter and mix well.
- Add the mashed bananas to the mixture and combine properly.
- Finally add the sifted dry ingredients and fold well using a spatula to avoid any lumps. If the batter is too thick, loosen it using some milk till the right consistency is achieved.
- Now pour the batter in the doughnut tray. Fill approximately half in individual molds.
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 20 – 25 mins or until done.
- When completely baked, remove from oven and cool for about 20 mins and then de-mold.
- Enjoy slightly warm with the favorite sauce of your choice.
