Ingredients

  • beetroot 250 gms
  • khoya 50gms
  • sugar 100 gms
  • ghee 100 gms
  • milk 100 gms
  • cashew nuts 20 gms

Instructions

  • heat ghee in a thick bottomed kadai
  • saute grated beetroot
  • cook in milk till soft
  • add khoya and cook till done

Notes/Tips

while making beetroot halwa, keep the flame through out. Also vary the sugar quantity according to one's taste.
