Ingredients

  • melted Ghee 2 cups
  • Milk as required
  • Unmelted ghee 1/2 cup
  • Pista powder 1/2 cup
  • Almond powder 1/2 cup
  • Saffron strands 1 tsp
  • Cardamom powder 2 tsp
  • Roasted Bengal gram flour 3 tbsp
  • Khoya 2 cups
  • Refined flour 2 cups
  • Icing sugar 2 tbsp
  • Powdered sugar 3/4 cup

Instructions

  • In a bowl knead a semi soft dough with refined flour,milk and 3 tbsp melted ghee and cover it and keep it aside
  • In a pan saute khoya for 10- 15 minutes around till it forms lump,then let it come to room temperature
  • Now in a bowl mix almond powder,pista powder,powdered sugar,roasted Bengal gram flour,khoya,saffron strings,cardamom powder properly .so the stuffing is ready for ghaari
  • Now in a pan heat ghee ,meanwhile roll rotis from refined flour dough ,fill it with the stuffing prepared above
  • Make potlis out of it and seal the top of potlis properly ,so ghaaris are ready for deep frying
  • Now deep fry these ghaaris in ghee on low to medium flame till golden
  • One the ghaaris are fried golden take them out and let it come to room temperature
  • Now in a bowl mix unmelted ghee and icing sugar
  • Now cover the top of these ghaaris with unmelted ghee prepared
  • Garnish these ghaaris with grated pista and almond
  • Serve it to your dear ones

Always fry GHAARI in ghee
