Ingredients :
2 cups milk 1/4 cup coffee water (preferably brewed) 1/2 cup bittersweet chocolate (70% cocoa ) 1/4 cup fresh heavy cream 1 1 / 2 tbsp granular sugar 1 / 2 tsp cinnamon powder 1 / 4 tsp white pepper powder as per taste 1 / 4 tsp vanilla powder For Topping : 1 / 3 cup fresh heavy cream 1 tbsp cocoa powder 1 / 2 tbsp granular sugar
PREPARATION :
1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for topping. Beat with the electric hand mixer and refrigerate while making the chocolate drink.
2. In a 3 - quatre pan, pour the milk and coffee water and put it on a medium flame.
3. Add the chocolate and whisk until the chocolate is completely melted.
4. Now add cinnamon powder, vanilla powder, white pepper powder and sugar. Whisk till mixture is a little forthy. (Approx. 2 minutes )
5. Remove from flame and add 1/4 cup fresh cream. With the electric hand mixer, beat the mixture twice or thrice so that the mixture turns a bit more forthy.
6. Divide among 2 mugs and top each with a dollop of the whiped cocoa and fresh cream. Sprinkle a bit of cinnamon powder and serve.
☆ This spicy chocolaty drink can be served either hot or chilled.
