A hearty breakfast of poha vada delivers a lot of fibres, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. It's crispy on the outside and soft inside. And the best part is that it is made up of the ingredients easily available in our pantry. Early in the morning, during rush hours, this quick breakfast recipe comes to rescue. It's very easy to make and tastes awesome. First, the poha is rinsed and soaked in water for few minutes until soft. Then the excess water is drained and the other ingredients are added. Vegetables can be added according to one's choice. Along with vegetables, onion, green chili, curry leaves and coriander leaves are added. These are mixed well to form a thick batter and shaped like vadas and deep fried till golden brown. It tastes best when hot and crispy. Serve the delicious vadas with chutney of your choice.
