After giving y’all a glimpse into the cocktail world, it is only fair to give out our recipes as well, so here we go!
1- Martinez
Ingredients
- 1 & 1/2 ounces gin
- 1 & 1/2 ounces sweet vermouth
- 1/4 ounce Luxardo maraschino liqueur
- Garnish: orange twist
Method
Add the gin, sweet vermouth, maraschino liqueur into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass and Garnish with an orange twist.
2- Martini
Ingredients
- 60ml vodka or gin
- 1 tbsp dry vermouth
- olive or lemon peel, to garnish
Method-
Stir the gin or vodka, dry vermouth and a little ice together or put them in a cocktail shaker to combine.
Strain into a chilled martini glass. Serve with an olive on a cocktail stick or a twist of lemon peel.
3- Bullshot
Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon celery salt
- Ice cubes
- 1/4 cup vodka
- 3/4 cup chilled double-rich double-strength canned beef broth
- Lime wedge
Method-
Mix Worcestershire and salt in the glass.
Add ice cubes. Pour vodka, then broth over. Garnish with a lime wedge.
4- Daiquiri
Ingredients
- 2 ounces light rum
- 1 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
- 3/4 ounce demerara sugar syrup
- Garnish: lime twist
Method-
Add the rum, lime juice and demerara sugar syrup to a shaker with ice, and shake until well-chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe.
Garnish with a lime twist.
5- Screwdriver
Ingredients
- 2 ounces vodka
- 5 ounces orange juice
- A pinch of salt
- Highball Glass
Method -
Fill a glass (traditionally highball) with ice and pour in the orange juice.
Drop in the pinch of salt.
Pour in the vodka & Stir.
Garnish it with a slice of orange or a maraschino cherry, optionally.
6- Tom Collins
Ingredients
- 2 ounces London dry gin
- 1 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- Club soda, to top
- Garnish: lemon wheel
- Garnish: maraschino cherry
Method -
Add the gin, lemon juice and simple syrup to a Collins glass.
Fill with ice, top with club soda and stir.
Garnish with a lemon wheel and maraschino cherry (optional).
7 - Whiskey Sour
Ingredients
- 2 ounces bourbon
- 3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 1/2 ounce egg white (optional)
- Garnish: Angostura bitters
Method -
Add bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup and egg white, if using, to a shaker and dry-shake for 30 seconds without ice.
Add ice and shake again until well-chilled.
Strain into a coupe glass & Garnish with 3 or 4 drops of Angostura bitters.
