  • Whole wheat flour
  • Sugar
  • Oil
  • Buttermilk
  • Vinegar
  • Cardamom powder
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Clove
  • Nutmeg
  • Baking powder
  • Baking soda
  • Vanilla essence
  • Cashew
  • Sugar
  • Dry fruits
  • Orange juice

Instructions

  • Soak the dry fruits in orange juice for minimum 6 hours. Pre - heat the oven for 180°c for 15 minutes. First prepare the caramel sauce by melting 1 tsp water and white sugar until it's golden and caramelized then add in boiling water and stir well and keep aside. Mix together all dry ingredients and then add wet ingredients along with prepared caramel sauce except vinegar..and mix it well. Then add the soaked dry fruits mix well Finally add vinegar mix well and pour into the greased baking tin and decorate with cashewnut and bake at 180°c for 40- 45 minutes until tooth pick inserted comes out clean. Cut into pieces and serve.
