  • 200 gm (2 cup) Khaskhas....
  • 1½cup Milk.
  • 150 gm Ghee..
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 /2 tsp Elaichi Powder
  • as required Dry Fruits......Optional

Instructions

  • Take khaskhas and soak in water for about 6 - 7 hours.
  • Now remove water and add milk in khaskhas and grind in mixer to a very smooth paste.
  • In a kadhahi take ghee, heat it and add khaskhas paste. Now mix it and start roast it with ghee.
  • At very low flame leave it to roast and add ghee 2 spoons each time in between. Don't forget to stirr this in between.
  • Repeat this step 4 - 5 times till the colour changes.
  • Now it is roasted so now add sugar followed by water and elaichi powder.
  • Now mix all together and cover with lid till all the water reduced.
  • After 5 minutes check this. Higher the flame and let it dry.
  • The very tempting and delicious khaskhas halwa is ready. Enjoy the recipe
