Ingredients

  • Rice flour
  • Carom seeds
  • Oil
  • Ghee
  • Besan
  • Sesame seeds
  • Red chilli powder
  • Salt

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, put rice flour, red chilli powder, carom seeds, besan, sesame seeds, salt and ghee. Now, add water accordingly and knead a dough with it. Make the dough as soft as possible. Now, place a kadhai over medium flame and heat oil in it. When the oil is hot enough, start making the Janthikalu. For that, you need a colander. Put the dough inside the colander and hold it over the hot oil. Rub the dough against it. Deep-fry the Janthikalu nicely from both the sides. When they turn golden brown in colour, take out and serve hot. And store them in a box.
