  • 3-4 Kachi Kairi - big ones (weights approx 350 gra
  • 350 Grams Gur
  • 1/2 tsp Black salt
  • 1/2 tsp Roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Dry mint leaves - slightly crushed
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
  • as required Some powdered sugar for coating
  • as required Ghee/Oil for greasing
  • 1/2 tsp Plain Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp Kashmiri Laal Mirch powder
  • 1/4 tsp Amchoor powder

Instructions

  • Make a paste of raw mango in a mixie, without adding any water. In a heavy and deep pan, add the pulp and cook on low flame Add gurh and mix nicely, see that no lumps are formed.
  • Keep cooking till the mixture gets thick.Add rest of ingredients, one by one, on low flame cook till all are well combined and the mixture is leaving the side of pan, forming paste of thick consistency.
  • Switch off the gas, transfer this mixture into a plate and cool it completely. It will be sticky.no worries, With help of small spoon, take small size of the mixture, grease you clean hands with ghee or oil and roll them mixture into bowls. Coat them with powdered sugar. Keep these sugar coated balls in jar sprinkle more powdered sugar in the bowl. Your chatpati goli is ready to gulp!!
