As we all know that the year 2020 has hit all of us So hard
We all were so frightened yet hoping to get rid of this as early as possible
Even there were so many restrictions to do things and taking care of everything. One thing that not changed was our food cravings
Most of the festivities were done during the lockdown but the best of them was rakshabandhan
And the food story starts from here. We all have a corner for the sweet tooththat craves every now and then
Same happened with my sister that she wanted to have some famous malpuas from the halwai of hisar city that is banarasi das Halwai that is quite famous for his malpua and rabri
This deadly combination of sweet warm malpua With creamy rabri can make anyone drool once
So the demand was couldn't be fulfilled because that was clearly Instructed by dad Not to bring outside food items
The enthusiasm turned a bit lower for her and then i got an idea
Why dont i try a hand on malpuas. Keeping it a secret i started to pay heed on the recipe
I tried them in a small batch first and they came out pretty well (I haven't expected š)
This first attempt filled me with a confidence to finally get them prepared on rakshabandhan
And the day was here, i entered to the kitchen and started the preparations
She was Too much excited to have Them As early as possible
And i dropped the first malpua in the ghee and the environment turned aromatic
The aroma of pure ghee and that cardamom flavoured syrup just made the environment heavenly
And i completed the whole cooking of all malpuas. They were ready to be served
And of course it was the day to celebrate the bond and affection of siblings
I decorated the special platter of malpuas for her
Happiness could be read on her face and i was too lucky to see that
This day of lockdown rakshabandhan was really much memorable to Me as well as to my sister
