Healthy Moong Dal Oats Idli #beat_the_craving
For the batter soak equal quantities of moong dal, oats and urad dal ( 1/2 cup each ) along with 1/4 tsp of methi seeeds for 2- 3 hrs. Grind this into a smooth batter adding water in installments and the consistency should be similar to our regular idly batter ( and not runny). Add 1tsp salt or as needed, allow it to ferment overnight and your protein loaded idly batter is ready to be used!

Top these with grated carrots or any veggies of choice and turn them into easy finger foods the little picky eaters at home.

We are planning to enjoy them with a simple coconut chutney, some spicy gunpowder and a cup of coffee.
