Idli's the Fasting way...

 

A perfect Delight to overcome one's hunger pangs During Fasting period especially Navratri as Having Sabudana khichdi every now and then seems monotonous now...
This Idli is made From the Mixture of Sama Rice ,sabudana,Curd and senda namak along side is peanut,Coconut Chutney to go with.
Being partially Punjabi I wasn't trained enough to curb my hunger pangs,came navratri and my cravings Accelerated as Sabudana was never my favourite I'd rather stay empty stomach then have the most common Fasting meal Maa,was like "fasting mein yehi hota hai" 
But then one fine day I thought of incorporating The fasting Grains which is technically not grains but the seeds of flowers and fruits  I came up with this Idli and chutney also managed to make dosa,Maa was surprised was like"humare zamane mein yeh kyu nahi tha" I said hoga tab main nahi thi na..haha!!
And not only this I ended up making Fasting gulab jamuns,dahi wada,yess!! You heard it right!! Its really fun to Experiment with new recipes and it's even more celebrating when it turns out really well. Isn't it?!?!
