After her successful launch of the luxury Indian restaurant- SONA, the actress has embarked on a new journey. On Wednesday, Priyanka and her business partner Maneesh Goyal launched her new home decor brand ‘Sona Home’!

While launching the brand she talks about how she had to let go of her roots and make a second home in America with her second family. She says she brings a little of India to everything she creates in the states. 

Priyanka Chopra has been seen holding the beacon of Indian culture, mannerisms and hospitality from time to time. She says, “Indian culture is known for its hospitality, it’s all about community and bringing people together…and for me, that is the ethos of SONA HOME. From our table to yours, we hope that you experience our same love for hosting, community, family, and culture in your home.” She adds, “With vibrant designs, timeless refinement, and joyful detail that nod to my beautiful India, we hope SONA Home transports you to an elegant bygone era with these exceptional pieces curated for the modern home.”

The colour scheme and the motifs on the dinnerware carry illustrations of animals like tigers, deer, monkeys, etc. Palm trees on ramekins and mugs draw inspiration from India's rich flora and fauna. 

The collection also includes lampshades that are made from recycled sarees. The textiles used for making table linens are elevated with intricate geometric patterns, textures, and motifs. These motifs, including pillars and arches, are inspired by the magnificent palaces of Rajasthan. 

Priyanka says that she got married in a palace in Rajasthan, which was not only beautiful but full of heritage and history. She wants SONA home to bring the same into people’s homes. The brand is currently shipping to USA & Canada, but soon will be operating worldwide.

No doubt, the ‘Desi girl’ actress has come a long way and the future shines bright for her with the arrival of her daughter!
