Let’s dive into exploring the underrated & unsung heroic foods from your kitchen –

  1. Tomatoes – Those red little cuties are high in lycopene which fights aging. Its vitamin C content evens skin tone, reduces dark spots, and pigmentation, tightens pores, reduces inflammation, controls acne & protects from UV rays. You will get brightened skin which will brighten up your day too!
  2. Turmeric – This anti-inflammatory & antioxidant spice can not only give a golden touch to your food but also to your face from within. It gives you a golden glow due to its main component curcumin, its roots have volatile oil with turmerone which slows down melanin production helping in reducing dark spots & hyperpigmentation. It is also helpful in skin conditions like psoriasis. 
  3. Spinach – This green veggie is a green flag for your skin. Just ask what spinach is rich in. And the answer is – what not!   2. Mix turmeric with milk and apply on the face & neck, rinse it off after 10 minutes.
  3. Mix honey and yoghurt and apply on your face & neck, leave for 15-20 minutes and rinse it off. Repeat twice a week
