Ingredients

  • Full cream milk 1 litres
  • Pre prepared rice 1 cup
  • Vanilla custard powder 100 teaspoons
  • Sugar as per taste
  • Cashews 8 units
  • Almonds 8 units
  • Pistachios 8 units
  • Cardamom powder 1/3 teaspoons
  • Kesar lentils 8 units

Instructions

  • Take all ingredients, Mash the rice properly with our hands after adding 1 spoon sugar.Make a softener dough by mashing it.
  • Now we will apply oil on our hands and make small balls (peda) of mixture and place them on a plate and press little to them all.
  • Boil the milk.
  • Take 2 tsp of milk and put custard powder in it. Mix it perfectly that no lumps remain left.
  • Add custard mixtures in boiled milk,Cook on slow flame, stir the milk continually, add cardomom powder, sugar and kesar lentils. Stir continually and cook it on slow flame until the milk get thicker
  • Now put rice balls one by one in the milk and cook it on low flame to get spongy the rasmlai and get sweet by inside. Stir continually for 10- 15 minutes.
  • Remove it and garnish with chopped nuts.
