Pineapple cake

  • 2 eggs 2 cup flour ( maida)
  • 1/4 th cup oil 1 cup chopped pineapple
  • 1teaspoon baking soda 1 tea spoon baking powder
  • 4 drop pineapple essence


  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar and baking soda. Make a well in the centre and add the eggs,vanilla and crushed pineapple, with liquid and from can. Mix well to blend.
  • Bake for 35 minutes,or until a toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean
  • To make the frosting: In a medium bowl, Combine cream cheese, butter,confectioners sugar and 1 teaspoon of pineapple. Beat until creamy. Spread on warm cake.


Keep out the cake when it cools..serve it
