  • 1 cup, Maida
  • 2 tbsp, Butter
  • Pinch, Salt
  • 2 tbsp, Cold water
  • 2 tbsp, Butter
  • 1 Tbsp, Maida
  • 1 cup, Milk
  • 4 tbsp, Sugar
  • Pinch, Cardamom powder
  • 1 cup, Mango chopped


  • MANGO PIE For the pie: Put maida,salt butter in a bowl and give it a mix to resemble crumbs, add a little cold water and make a tight dough, keep in fridge for 15 minutes.
  • Mango stew: In a kadai, add butter, maida and saute till it smells good,add 1cup milk and make a stew,add sugar and make a thick stew, add cardamom powder and lastly add 1 cup mango pieces, let it cool.
  • Take a tart dish,glaze with little butter, take the dough and make 2 portions, roll out 1 portion, put it on the tart dish and prick it with a fork, now take the mango stew and pour over the tart,now roll out another portion of dough.
  • and lay outaccording to your design, brush a little butter mixed with sugar and bake ina preheated oven for 140 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. A little browning till crisp will be good.


Check for light browning and stop the oven.
