Healthy heart granola bars

  • 2 cups , Rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup , Chopped almonds
  • 1 cup , Chopped Ground nuts
  • 1/2 cup , Crushed walnuts
  • 1/2 cup , Chopped dates
  • 1/3 cup , Pure honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon , Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup , Poppy seeds


  • take a pan and add the rolled oats , chopped Nuts & almonds. saute them for 2 minutes until lightly toasted.
  • Now add chopped dates & poppy seeds and walnuts into the pan and stir them well.
  • add vanila extract for taste. add honey and Stir to combine them.
  • take any mould and greese it with unsalted butter
  • Transfer the mixture to the greesed mould, and then use a rubber spatula or damp finger tips to firmly press the mixture into the mould.
  • keep them aside for 30 minutes and then cut into bars. Press hard here, this way the bars will stay together once cooled and cut.
  • Store granola bars in an airtight container for up to one week.

We have observed benefits for total nuts, peanuts, and walnuts. They were all associated with lower risk of cardiovascular disease and coronary heart disease. And the intake of peanuts and walnuts was additionally associated with lower risk of stroke.
