  • 4 , Potatoes
  • 1 cup , Milk
  • 5tbsp , Sugar
  • 3tbsp , Ghee
  • 4-5strings , Saffron


  • Boil 4 medium sized potatoes and mash them
  • Heat the pan add ghee ,then add mashed potatoes. Stir them continuously on medium flame for 10 -15 minuted until they start getting cooked and releases a nice flavour
  • Add saffron strings in milk and mix well then add half cup of milk in potatoes and stir well for add remaining milk into the potatoes and mix well .
  • Continuously stir for 2-3 minutes then add sugar and stir Continuously so that it doesn't sticks to pan. After the sugar get mix properly turn off the flame and aloo ka sheera is ready to serve


Do not turn the flame high,cook on low or medium flame. Continuously stir it.
